I, Diana Hanson have outlined the following information to address
online privacy and consumer protection with regards to this
Web site, DianaHanson.com:
We do NOT share e-mail addresses, obtained via communcation
with visitors to DianaHanson.com, with anyone.
We make no effort to identify public users of DianaHanson.com.
No identifying data is disclosed to any third party for any
purpose. Data that we collect is used only for server administration
and Web protocol research.
We pledge that DianaHanson.com will not release personal data
to anyone else without consent. If others want this information,
including your name or your email address, only you can choose
to give it to them.
As is typical, we log http requests to our web hosting company's
server. This means that we know the originating IP (e.g. 18.29.0.1)
address of a person requesting a URL, the visitor's domain name,
referral data, and browser and platform type. We do not log
the specific identity of visitors. We occasionally analyze the
log files to determine which files are most requested. Our logging
is passive; we do not use technologies such as cookies to maintain
any information on users.
There are a couple of places on DianaHanson.com where a visitor
can send an e-mail to another with a link to the site or specific
page. Some of these messages could forward a blind copy to Diana
Hanson. This information is used only to monitor the service
of the site and no one will follow up in any way on this information,
unless separately requested to do so by the visitor.
Additionally, users should be aware that some links on this
Web site transfer visitors to third party sites (for weather,
rates, etc.). These sities are beyond the control of DianaHanson.com
and visitors should review the privacy policies of those sites
separately.
